OnLine Short Film Winners
French Film Festival

From the French Film Festival organizers:
Earlier in the year we
launched La Dernière Minute,
our second annual international online short film competition. Filmmakers from
all over the world at any level were invited to send in a 1-5 minute video clip
based on the theme, A
French Touch.
We were delighted to receive so many entries from France, New Zealand and
beyond. We called upon the services of New Zealand filmmaker Louis Sutherland, one
of our favourite Kiwi journalists Dominic Corry and Festival Director
Sarah Reese to select the winning films.
A big congratulations to Benjamin Huguet and his short film Cornouailles (Cornwall) who took out this year's
title. We absolutely love his film and think it is hugely affecting for its
short running time. Benjamin walks away with NZ$1000, a film mentoring
programme with Sutherland, and other great prizes.
Félicitations to the Official Runner-Up
Jérôme Coué, the judges' Special Mention Jun
Bin Lee, and all the other fantastic aspiring filmmakers who
participated. The top three films can be viewed by clicking on the profiles and
links below.
A très bientôt au cinéma,
The Festival Team
