Les Françaises au Mount ce weekend
There has been quite a lot of publicity about the Black Ferns in recent weeks and fans in Aotearoa have one last chance in 2026 to get behind the nation Rugby XV team as they take on France at One NZ Stadium in Christchurch, with kick-off this Saturday, October 31 at 7.10pm.
Yes, the Ferns have been playing the French and the Saturday match marks the final of three home Tests to wrap up the WXV Global Series. NZ has won the first two.
On the other hand, little has been said about the Women’s International Pre-Season Rugby Sevens tournament which also takes place this weekend. Teams from New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, Japan. Samoa, the USA and France will be taking part.
Good News :
* The games take place at Blake Park in Mt Maunganui
* Entry to the games is Free !
So there are no excuses. Put on some bleu-blanc-rouge and pop along. Support and cheer the French along with lots of Allez les bleues ! – Reticence is accepted if they are playing NZ, naturellement.
